Elderly and Children of Elderly
Stability Plus, the name of the program for senior citizens, helps the elderly to maintain their independence and dignity for as long as possible with the safe and effective use of exercise and age-appropriate equipment.
Our definition of fitness is being able to do YOUR daily tasks and/or employment requirements with ease. For the elderly population, this frequently includes tasks such as:
- Getting in and out of a chair or bed
- Dressing themselves
- Using steps or stairs
- Bending and reaching for things they need
- Maintaining their balance
- Regaining their balance
All exercises can be performed from a standing position, with or without a walker, as well as seated in a chair or wheelchair.
